Mission to the Moon STEM Camp

K-4th: 12:30pm-2:30pm
5th-8th: 3pm-5pm
FREE
Designed for students in grades K–8, Mission to the Moon is a hands-on STEM camp that invites students to explore space science and engineering through creativity, problem solving, and real-world applications.
During the camp, participants will learn about space and lunar exploration, build and launch rockets, design and test landers, and tackle engineering challenges inspired by actual space missions. Activities are grounded in Dr. Linda Rost’s real-life experiences working with NASA, giving students a unique window into how science and engineering are used beyond the classroom.
The camp encourages curiosity, teamwork, and experimentation while making complex ideas accessible and fun. The program supports the Museum’s mission to provide engaging educational opportunities that connect science, history, and innovation.
The program is offered free of charge thanks to donations supporting the O’Fallon Historical Museum and the O’Fallon Historical Society.
